Summary

Files and reports sent from PayGlobal are held in the Outbox until the Send and Receive run command is actioned.

Who can use Send and Receive?

You can only send and receive reports that you have generated under your own login.

If you have run reports to your Outbox and asked another user to Send them, they will not be able to do so.

Troubleshooting
  • If you are e-mailing the file:

    Confirm all the POP3 and SMTP fields are completed in the Messaging tab page of Company Settings.

  • If you are saving to file:

    Check that you are successfully logged into the network.

Procedure

Double-click the Send and Receive run command to see the Send and Receive Messages box.

Exiting Send and Receive automatically

Tick the Close When Finished check box in the Send and Receive Messages form. The window will automatically close when the procedure is complete.

Columns
Tasks:

Distinguishes whether the file is e-mailed or sent to local file.

Status:

Displays the progress as Waiting / Executing / Completed.

Connection:

Displays whether the connection is Internet or file.

 

 

Audit log

Use the audit log to troubleshoot the Send and Receive run command. There are entries for SMTP, POP3, FTP, and details about the files sent.
