Summary

Use PayGlobal Scheduler to automatically run tasks at a time that is convenient for you. For example, you can schedule reports to run during the early hours of the morning when there is less demand on the network.

Fields

Start running date:

The date Schedule Server will start running the schedule rules.

Start running time:

The time that the schedule will start on the specific day (using a 24-hour clock).

Run schedule every:

The frequency that Schedule Server runs. Enter the number of units and then select from Days, Hours, or Minutes.

Login as:

Select the User Profile that allows Schedule Server to access PayGlobal.

This user profile must be unique. Schedule Server cannot access PayGlobal if the user profile is already in use. The user profile will also be displayed for auditing purposes.

Status:

This field is system-generated. The options are:

• Blank

  The default for a new record.

• Enabled

  The Send details to schedule service button was clicked and the details have been sent to the Schedule Service.

• Disabled

  The Disable this schedule button was clicked and the schedule is disabled.

Send details to schedule service

When you change details in a Schedulers record, click Send details to schedule service to update the ini file particular to the record. (The ini files for each record are located in the company Scheduling folder). You will be prompted to enter the password that you set up for the Schedule Server user profile.

The Status field will change to Enabled.

Disable this schedule

If you want to remove all details of this schedule from Schedule Server, then click Disable this schedule.

The Status field will change to 'Disabled'.
