Summary

All users need a user profile to log on to PayGlobal. When you log on, you enter your User Code in the Login ID field and enter your password. The User Code/Login ID identifies who is logging on and it can prevent users from confirming their own timesheets.

The user profile determines the user's access to areas, such as user-defined fields (UDFs), and specific parts of Transaction View and Daily View.

Features

User profiles can:

  • Associate a user with a security profile to determine access to PayGlobal down to tab page level.
  • Determine whether a user logs on and sees the PayGlobal Tree or a workflow, which shows only information relevant to that user.
  • Set an external e-mail address to use as a default for sending reports to an e-mail address.
  • Set an expiry date for a user profile. For example, for a temporary PayGlobal user.
  • Prevent users from changing or confirming their own timesheets.
  • Set screensaver and login timeouts.
  • Define text file settings.
