SpreadSheet Group SpreadSheets - Details

Summary

The Details tab page allows SpreadSheet operators to add a SpreadSheet Definition to a SpreadSheet Group.

You can include a SpreadSheet Definition in multiple SpreadSheet Groups. You can also include multiple versions of a SpreadSheet Definition the same SpreadSheet Group, but you have to give each a unique SpreadSheet name (see below).

Fields
SpreadSheet Definition Code:

Use the pick list to select the SpreadSheet that you want to include in this SpreadSheet Group. You need to add each SpreadSheet separately. After you add the SpreadSheet Definition Code, PayGlobal automatically completes the other fields, but you can edit the default values.

SpreadSheet:

Unique name that identifies this SpreadSheet. If you try to add a SpreadSheet Definition to a group that contains a definition with the same SpreadSheet name, then a warning message appears. You must change the SpreadSheet name before you can save the record.

Description:

SpreadSheet description. If you wanted to include two versions of a SpreadSheet (with different settings) in a SpreadSheet Group, then you would manually edit the name and description of the SpreadSheets to differentiate between them.

Rank:

PayGlobal ranks SpreadSheets alphanumerically, so A1 is ranked above 1A. PayGlobal gives unranked SpreadSheets a rank of 01.
