Summary

Fixed resources are items of equipment that are needed for an employee to perform the duties of their position.

The details of these items are entered in the Fixed Resources entity, and are then assigned to employees in Daily View.

For example, company vehicles may be set up as fixed resources identified by make, model and registration number. A vehicle may then be assigned to an employee in Daily View, as a means of ensuring transport needs are met. It also acts as a record to enable the resource to be traced back to the employee responsible for it on that day.
