Set up this tab page only if you use T&A or Rostering.

PayGlobal uses the information in the Cost Centre Rank area with Cost Centre-Timeband Rank tab values to generate cost centre codes.

Timebands

Timebands are used in T&A and Rostering to show the time that an employee is working, such as 08:00 - 17:00.

Usually, a PayGlobal consultant will base the cost centre ranking on the organisation's general ledger requirements.

For example, Type 1 = 1:

• If the Type 1 field in T&A contains a cost centre, then PayGlobal uses it.
• If the Type 1 field in T&A is blank, then PayGlobal uses the employee's cost centre field on the Defaults tab page (Cost Centre Rank).

If the tables do not have cost centres attached to them, then PayGlobal will default to the employee's cost centre.
