PayGlobal uses the information in the Job Rank area with Job-Timeband Rank tab values to generate job codes.

Procedure

• You use the Job - Timeband Rank tab to rank entities that can make up a job code for a timeband. PayGlobal can rank by any of the entity fields that you see on the tab page, as well as by Types and Dims, which are usually defined when the company is set up.
• You can use ranking and wildcards to create job codes "on-the-fly" when you process Actuals or Roster timebands in Daily View.
• Job code logic will replace the wildcards in an Actuals or Roster transaction's job code until it creates the complete job code or it reaches the end of the rank path.
• You can configure PayGlobal to split a job proportionally between multiple job codes but this works only for the the work areas.
