Daily View - Employee View

Daily View

Summary

Employee View displays a summary of employee Actuals, Rosters or Availability in the following sections:

  • Details

Displays employee information such as code, name, and department.

  • Summary

Summarises information for each employee for the selected week. Displays Roster start and end times, Actual start and end times, variances between Actuals and Roster, reason codes, and hours worked.

  • Totals

Displays weekly totals in units or dollars

Details - Sorting

Employee View allows you to sort employees by any Details value.

When you click any of the Employee View Details headers, that column’s data will be sorted in ascending order. If you click the header again, then the data will be sorted in descending order. Use Ctrl+Click to remove sorting.

Important: You should not sort the data in the Employee View Totals area because of the large amount of data involved.

A triangular icon in the column header indicates the type of sorting:

  • An upright triangle indicates ascending order.
  • An inverted triangle indicates descending order.

For more details, see Daily View - Sort Employees.

Details - Jump to record

You can jump to the record you require by typing the relevant value in the corresponding Details cell. For example, to jump to the first employee who has the last name 'Jones', click in a Details Name cell and type 'jones'.

By default, the Summary section displays the following values for each employee:

  • End: Actual work end time.

  • Wrkd: Number of hours worked.

To view additional fields use customise columns.
