Entity:This field is similar to the Global List. It contains a list of the entities that you can create diary entries for. Date Field:The Date Field options depend on the entity that you selected in the previous field. The Date Field options are Entity fields with dates that you can include in a Diary. Mark Anniversaries:If the date is in the past, then selecting 'Yes' will mark the anniversary of that date in the current year. This option is often used to mark employee birthdays. Entity or Parent Query:Use queries when you want to record dates for a specific set of records in the entity. For example, when you want to diary birthdays for full-time employees only. Description for Transactions:Describe the clause, for example, "Birthdays – Full-time employees". The description is displayed in Diary View to explain why the date is highlighted. Initial Priority for Transactions:Priorities range from 1 (high) to 5 (low). Overwrite Existing Transactions:If you select Yes, then the diary entry transaction is overwritten when you run the Process Diary Data command. |
