Diaries | Diary Rules

Summary

Diary rules are a set of instructions that determine whether a date is included in the calendar. They are similar to rules in other areas of PayGlobal such as Payroll, Time & Attendance, and Scheduling. However, diary rules contain only action clauses that filter records by code or with a query.

Create a diary rule
  1. Navigate to Diaries | Diary Rules.
  2. Press Insert to add a Diary Rules record.
  3. Enter a Code and Description.
  4. Click Save, and then click Edit.
  5. On the Action Clauses tab, click None and press Enter.
  6. The Fields list appears with Mark Entity Date selected so click OK.
  7. Complete the Mark Entity Date form, and then click OK.
  8. Click Save + Close.
