Summary

When you process diary data, PayGlobal creates a transaction in Diary View based on the rules in the selected diary. PayGlobal also updates existing records in Diary View with information from the current database.

You can process a diary in either of the following ways:

• Manually using the Process Diary Data command.
• Automatically using PayGlobal Scheduler.
  We recommend using PayGlobal Scheduler to automatically process diary data.

Using Scheduler has the following benefits:

• Automates diary processing.
• Saves time.
• Displays current diary data (for the previous day or as scheduled).
• Reduces the risk of errors.

Process

To configure Scheduler to process diary data, you need to:

• Create Diary Scheduling Rules
• Attach Diary Scheduling Rules to the Scheduler.
