Add Document from File

Document View

Procedure
  1. In the Document Tree, click the folder that you want to add the document to.
  2. Right-click the grid to see the menu.
  3. Click Add Document from File.

    The Open window appears.

    Alternatively, you can click New Document to open Microsoft Word and create a new document in Document View.

    Important: File names should not contain more than 100 characters. If they exceed 100 characters, the file extension will be truncated when you upload the file and users will be unable to view the document.

  4. Browse to the location of the required document.
  5. Click Open.

    Note: If selecting an image file that exceeds 250kb the Document Optimiser option will be made available. The image can be scaled down, cropped and/or reduced in quality in order to reduce file size. Files greater than 5Mb will not be added.

    The Document Settings window appears as shown below.

  6. Complete the Document Settings.
  7. Click OK.

Entity that the document is associated with

Entity record that the document is associated with

4 Stamp

Click this check box to publish the document to the Self-Service website.

 

Results

Document appears in:

  • Document View
  • The entity and entity code (record) specified in the Document Settings window
  • Self-Service web site if specified.

    Note: Documents are stored in the Documents table in the PayGlobal database.
