Employee Status - Costing

Summary

Sometimes you need to record the costs associated with a Position. For example, sales positions may need to be associated with the sales cost centre. Or there may be a large contract or order that you need to cost to a certain job.

Fields

Cost Centre:

Links with a costing group. For example, Auckland Administration or Melbourne Consultancy.

Job:

Links a position and a particular job. For example, a special contract.

Award: Links a position and an award.

Rate:

Links a position and a rate.

Rate amount:

Enter a rate amount here to override the default rate.

Factor:

Enter the factor by which the rate amount is multiplied by to achieve a value. For example, 1 for ordinary time, or 2 for double time.
