Employee Packages - Details (i)

Employees | HR | Remun Details | Remuneration Packages tab | Add or Edit | Details (i) tab

Fields
Position Default Code:

Optional. Save time by using a previously defined template or Position Default for an Employee Remuneration Package. PayGlobal automatically completes the applicable tab pages for:

  • Details (ii)
  • Base Components
  • Vehicles
  • Share Issues
  • Bonuses.

To reflect an employee's individual circumstances, update the data in these tab pages after the defaults are pulled through.

Start date:

Compulsory. The date that a remuneration package starts.

End date:

Complete this field only if a remuneration package is due to end on a certain date.

Is current package:

Select Yes for a remuneration package to be the current package for this employee when rate effectiveness is off.

Is active package:

Select Yes for a remuneration package to be the active package for this employee for transaction dates that overlap the package date range when rate effectiveness is enabled.

Annual Hours:

Indicates the hours the employee is expected to work each year for the selected package. A new employee package may be the result of a change to the hours the employee is expected to work (e.g. a move from full time to part time employment).

This is used to convert the salary into an hourly rate. If the annual hours are not supplied they will be calculated from the employee's current profiled hours.

Confirm box

When you add or edit Employee Packages, this Confirm box will appear:

"Changing Position Default will clear and replace Base Components, Vehicles, Start Date and End Date. Do you wish to continue?"

Continuing from here changes the values described in the Confirm box to the new values that you have entered.

Right-click menu

Use the Right-click menu to recalculate an employee package and PIR. PayGlobal displays the recalculated values on the Details (ii) tab page.
