Summary |
Using Leave Management in Self-Service eliminates the need for a paper-based leave system by communicating to employees and managers via the web and e-mail. |
Procedure |
The process begins with employees, who log in to their Self-Service website and enter a leave request, including dates, leave type, and any other relevant information. Details of the leave request are instantly e-mailed to their manager for approval. The manager then approves or declines the request based on the information displayed in the e-mail and the employee is notified in Self-Service. All approved leave requests are automatically made available for processing by PayGlobal while any declined leave requests must be re-entered by the employee. Self-Service Leave Management provides a seamless workflow between employees, managers, and payroll staff, and shortens the time taken to process leave requests, which is of great benefit in times of peak demand. |
Viewing previous leave requests |
There is a View Request History tab in Self-Service that allows employees to view the status of all pending and previous leave requests. |
Processing leave requests |
Processing of leave requests in PayGlobal can be done using Transaction View. Leave request messages from Self-Service will automatically appear as items in a diary of tasks from which they can easily be added as transactions for processing. |
