WorkCover Claims (Aus)

Human Resources | OHS | WorkCover | WorkCover Claims

Summary

The WorkCover Claims entity contains details of employees’ WorkCover claims. This is the main WorkCover entity and it links to several WorkCover makeup tables.

Accident Claims

The WorkCover Claims entity replaces the Accident Claims entity. When you upgraded your database to 1.94, PayGlobal copied your existing Accident Claims data into WorkCover Claims records. PayGlobal then created a WorkCover Claims record to replace every Accident Claims record, so you did not lose any of your existing data.

If your Accident Claims records contained UDF values, then the upgrade process:

  • Created a User-Defined tab page in the WorkCover Claims record.
  • Added the UDFs and their values to the User-Defined tab page.

If you need to, you can adjust the position of the UDFs or move them to another tab page.

Coding Conventions

Make sure that your coding convention clearly identifies WorkCover Claims records.

For example, W09.001.1003

  • W = WorkCover
  • 09 = 2009
  • 001 = Annual claim counter
  • 1003 = Employee code.
