Employee:Select the employee that this WorkCover claim is for. Work related:Select Yes or No to indicate whether this claim is related to a workplace incident. Note: If you change Work related from Yes to No, then PayGlobal clears the WC Claim Number field. Incident:Select the incident that this claim is associated with. The pick list displays only Incident records with an Injured Person | Employee Code that matches the WorkCover Claim | Employee Code. WorkCover claim number:Enter the WorkCover claim reference number provided by the WorkCover insurer. Active when Work related = Yes. Claim Status:Select the status of this claim. Date of injury:Enter the date that the injury occurred. If you leave this field blank and save the record, then PayGlobal copies the date from the Incident record. Time of injury:Enter the time that the injury occurred. If you leave this field blank, then a Confirm box appears when you save the record and you can copy the time from the Incident record. Date injury noticed:Enter the date that the injury was first noticed. Date injury reported:Enter the date that the injury was reported to the employer. If you leave this field blank and save the record, then PayGlobal copies the date from the Incident record. Lost time injury:Select Yes or No to indicate whether the employee was unable to work due to the incident. If this field value differs from the Lost Time value in the Incident record, then a Confirm box appears when you save the record. You can copy the Incident value to the Lost time injury field. Note: If this WorkCover claim is for an incident that resulted in the employee being unable to work for a period of time, then select Yes — even if the incident was not work related. Date ceased work:The date that the employee stopped work is copied from the Injured Person Injuries record. Active when Lost time injury = Yes. Note: If the WorkCover Claim | Employee Code matches the Incident | Injured Person | Employee Code, then PayGlobal will copy the Injured Person Injuries | Date of first incapacity value to the Date ceased work field. Time ceased work:Time that the employee stopped work. Active when Lost time injury = Yes. Gradual injury:Select Yes if this WorkCover claim is for an injury that became apparent after the incident occurred — even if the incident was not work-related. Gradual injury comments:Enter a brief description of the gradual injury. Active when Gradual injury = Yes. |
