Summary

When you finish customising your Transaction View layout, you must use Save Layout As to save your settings. Your most recently saved layout becomes the default layout for Transaction View, and you will see it whenever you access this window. If you do not Save Layout As, then your changes will be lost when you exit Transaction View or apply another layout.

Save your layout

1. Customise the Transaction View layout to meet your requirements.
2. In the main menu, click File | Save Layout As.

   The Save Layout As box appears.

3. Enter a Filename, and click OK.

   Note: If you overwrite an existing layout, then an Information box appears.

Your new layout is added to the options listed for the Layout field in the Style toolbar. You can active a layout by selecting it in the Layout field, and then clicking Go! Other people can use your new layout, but any changes that you make to the Default layout are saved in your user profile only .
