Pass Attendees

Summary

After employees attend a course you need to pass attendees who successfully completed it, and then close the course. Most attendees will pass the course requirements so PayGlobal allows you to pass all attendees at the same time. If some attendees do not pass the course, then you should pass all attendees, and then edit records for attendees who were not successful.

After you pass attendees and save the Courses record, the Course Attendees | Details tab | Status fields change to "Passed". When you close the course, "Passed" attendees will gain any competencies and qualifications associated with this type of course.

Procedure

To pass attendees on a course:

  1. Navigate to Human Resources | Learning & Development | Course Details | Courses.
  2. Double-click the required course to open the Courses form.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Click the Attendees tab.
  5. Right-click the top part of the Courses form (not a tab page) to see the menu.
  6. Click Pass All Attendees.

    An Information message appears.

  7. Click OK.

    When you save the Courses record, the attendees' Status will change to "Passed".

  8. Click Save.

    If an attendee did not pass the course, then you need to edit their Course Attendees record and change their Status to "Failed".

  9. Click Edit.
  10. Double-click the unsuccessful attendee's record to see the Course Attendees form.
  11. Click Edit.
  12. On the Course Attendees | Details tab, change the Status field to Failed.

    Note: If the attendee did not pass the course because they were absent, then you would change the Status field to "Absent".

  13. Click Save + Close.

    Information messages appear about copying default learning outcomes and course feedback records.

  14. Click No for both messages because this Course Attendees record already contains learning outcomes and course feedback.
  15. Click Save.
