Prerequisites |
Timesheet functionality is available in PayGlobal 1.94 RC16 or later and 1.95 RC4 or later, and only if your PayGlobal serial number includes licensing for Self-Service. Important: Timesheeting in this section is Self-Service 3.5 and later functionality. If you are using Self-Service 3.4 or earlier, then you will still see the timesheet settings in PayGlobal. However, this timesheet functionality will not work with existing functionality in Self-Service 3.4 or earlier. |
Summary |
Timesheets allow employees to record their time worked. An employee can view, add and edit hours in their timesheet. When an employee completes their timesheet for the period, they must submit it to their manager for approval. After a manager approves timesheets, the Timesheet Admin (or Self-Service Scheduler) finalises the approved timesheets. The timesheets are then written to specific CSV files for import into PayGlobal. |
Configure Timesheets |
You must set up and attach Timesheet Settings records to employees to enable them to enter timesheets in Self-Service. Timesheet Settings control how Self-Service handles timesheets for employees. The "You cannot use self service to enter timesheets" message appears when an employee clicks My Time in Self-Service in the following situations:
