Existing Employee Definition of Week Records |
If the Workforce Management data contains Work Profiles for employees who already have an existing definition of week the existing definition of week will be ended and a new definition created. If there are any conflicts between existing PayGlobal Work Profiles and Workforce Management Work Profiles retrieved, then the employee will not be updated in PayGlobal. The import process will calculate the Total Hours and Total Days (based on those days with non zero values) when creating the new Employee Definition of Week. Important: PayGlobal uses the Employee Work Profile for liability and annualised salary calculations. Using this import process will recalculate the employee's annual leave allocations (if necessary) but does not automatically trigger a recalculation of any liability or annualise salary details within PayGlobal and these will need to be triggered manually. |
Multi-week Work Patterns |
The following general guidelines apply to all import methods when dealing with multi-week work patterns. A multi-week work pattern is a Workforce Management standard hours which covers more than a single week. If the Workforce Management data contains multi-week work patterns then these are imported into PayGlobal as a series of single week definition of week records. To successfully import multi-week work patterns the employee must be associated with a Pay Period with a Frequency of Weekly. If employees have multi-week work patterns and are not associated with a Weekly Pay Period, these employees will not be updated and their details will be recorded in the import audit logs. All multi-week work patterns must commence on a Monday to be imported into PayGlobal. If employees have multi-week work patterns that do not start on a Monday, these employees will not be updated and their details will be recorded in the import audit logs. Additional guidelines for specific import methods may also apply. |
