Accident Claims - Return to Work (NZ)

Summary

This tab page records details about the employee’s incapacity and the dates of their partial or full return to work. The Incapacity sub- record of the ACCPP Claims Data file uses this information.

Fields
Incapacity from:

Date that the employee stopped work. If you selected an Incident on the Details tab, then this date is automatically copied from the Incident record. ACCPP Claim Data file requirement - NZ only.

Partial return:

Date the employee returned to work on a partial basis. ACCPP Claim Data file requirement - NZ only.

Full return:

Date the employee returned to work on a fulltime or permanent basis. ACCPP Claim Data file requirement - NZ only.

Degree of incapacity:

The degree that the employee’s injuries affect their capacity to work.

Values specified by the ACC are:

  • Blank (default)
  • T – Total
  • P - Partial

ACCPP Claim Data file requirement - NZ only.

Incapacity status:

The extent of incapacity caused by the injury.

Values specified by the ACC are:

  • Blank (default)
  • P - Permanent
  • T – Temporary

ACCPP Claim Data file requirement - NZ only.

Note: The Degree of incapacity and Incapacity status fields both use the P and T codes — but for different purposes. This may cause confusion, but the ACC specify these codes as valid required entries for the ACCPP file.

Expected return to work date:

Visible when you select an Incident on the Accident Claims - Details tab page. This date is automatically copied from the Planned return field on the Injured Persons - Details tab page.
