The Incident Categories entity groups the severity of the injury or the extent of property damage sustained into categories. Note: These codes are used in the Incident Category Code pick list on the Incidents - Details (i) tab page. |
Minor incidents |
An incident can occur that does not harm an employee physically but results in property damage and/or loss of productivity. This information is still important and requires recording. |

To add an Incident Category record, switch to Edit mode and press Insert. Incident Categories are simple code and description records. |
Analysing Incidents |
By categorising each incident record, you can analyse the ratio of minor to serious incidents, develop a trend analysis, and produce reports to monitor your workplace incidents. |
