Recruitment Centres - Details

Human Resources | Recruitment | Recruitment Details | Recruitment Centres | Details tab

Summary

A vacancy in an organisation usually has a direct correlation to a specific Position. When recruiting, there is usually a general expectation of the tasks that need to be fulfilled and the area that the need occurs in. This tab page records and displays the data relating to the specific Position being recruited for.

Fields
Work Area Position Code:

The Position selected here automatically populates the Contract field. It also completes the Incumbents tab page with employees who are currently employed in this Position. This field is not compulsory, so if you are recruiting for a new Position, you do not need to have created the new Work Area Position first.

The employee who is authorised to approve a vacancy.

Contract:

This field is populated automatically if the Work Area Position has an associated Contract. You can change this Contract by selecting from the picklist. When an applicant is accepted, the contract code set here transfers to the Accept Applicant form. For more information about accepting applicants from a recruitment centre, see Accept Applicant Wizard.
