Courses - Course Status

Summary

The Course Status tab contains information such as the course dates, status and attendee numbers.

When you Copy Defaults from the Course Types record, PayGlobal can copy values into the following Course Status tab fields:

  • Minimum attendees
  • Maximum attendees.

Fields
Begin date:

Date this course starts. If you use roster integration functionality, when you create a Courses record, you must add a Begin date value before you save the Courses record and copy default values so PayGlobal can copy across makeup records from the Course Types | Days tab.

End date:

Date this course ends. When you create a Courses record, you need to add Course Type and End date values before you save the Courses record and copy default values so PayGlobal can calculate the Details (ii) tab | Review date value.

Cut-off date:

Last date that a manager or employee can book this course. Not copied from the Course Types record. This field is used by:

  • Self-Service course search functionality to filter courses by date
  • Self-Service to prevent managers or employees from booking courses after the cut-off date.
Status:

Status of the course: "Open" (default) or "Closed".

Minimum attendees:

Minimum number of attendees required to run this course. The course needs at least this number of attendees to be cost effective.

Maximum attendees:

Maximum number of attendees that can attend this course. This value could be determined by the capacity of the venue or it could reflect the maximum Attendee:Instructor ratio.

Course Grouping:

Course grouping for this course. Not copied from the Course Types record.
