Summary

Course categories allow you to group courses into broad categories for reporting purposes. For example, you could create the "Internal" and "External" course categories to indicate whether a course is an in-house company course or one provided by an external institution. Course Categories are simple Code and Description records.

Using Course Categories

When you create a Course Types record, you can select a Default Course Category on the Course Types - Details (i) tab. When you create a Courses record based on this course type, PayGlobal copies the Default Course Category value to the Courses - Details (i) tab - Course Category field.
