Organisation | Costings | Cost Centres | Costing tab
Summary |
The Costing tab records the Total amount and Total FTE hours for the cost centre. PayGlobal recalculates these values when you process a pay, but it does not update the values displayed until you close the pay. You can also record the Budgeted amount and Budgeted FTE hours for the cost centre. When you process a pay, PayGlobal checks the total values against the budgeted values, and warns you the cost centre is over budget. |
Fields |

Pay processing |
When you process a pay, PayGlobal updates the Total amount and Total FTE hours values for cost centres. If you use proportional costing or you split allowances by allowance groups, then PayGlobal will split FTE hours along with other transaction amounts. If the total processed transactions for a cost centre exceed the Budgeted amount and/or Budgeted FTE hours values, then pay processing is successful, but a warning appears in the audit log. See Processing Cost Centres and Jobs for further information. |
