Summary |
Anchoring is based on the roster time. It defines the acceptable threshold for swipe times associated with shifts, breaks and transfers. If there is no roster, then PayGlobal uses Rounding to modify clock swipes. |
Example |
For example, a roster shift runs from 08:00 - 16:00 and anchoring is set up as follows:
An employee swipes in at 08:07. Anchoring uses the following logic:
If an employee swipes in at 08:23, the swipe is still associated with the roster shift start but it is marked as an exception because it falls outside the anchoring threshold. PayGlobal then applies rounding to this swipe and processes it normally. |
