Summary

Clock keys differ from other parts of PayGlobal in that you can create several identical codes.

For example, the code '165' could be used for 'Stocktake'. However, you want to differentiate between day shift and salaried staff who are coming in especially to complete the stocktake. You want all staff involved in the stocktake to key in '165' but they will be using different clocks.

Use this entity to record which clock will use a key code. In this situation, Clock 1 will use key code '165' - Salaried Staff and Clock 2 will use key code '165' - Day Shift.

Key Codes

Key codes are codes entered at the clock by employees when they swipe, to override any default settings in their employee file.
