Summary

You can link individual workflows to create a set that describes a complex process. You then need to place these related workflows in a common workflow group. You can run these linked workflows from the Workflow Group | Workflows tab page.

Standard Workflows

PayGlobal provides a set of standard workflows with each version upgrade. After you upgrade PayGlobal, run the following commands:

• Import Workflows - Import any new workflows created by PayGlobal into your system.
• Update Workflow Definitions Table - Place the imported workflows in the Workflow Definitions Table.
• Create Standard Workflow Groups - Create standard workflow groups with the imported workflows.

Run a Workflow

To run a workflow:

1. Navigate to Workflows | Workflow Groups.
2. Double-click the required Workflow Group, such as TANDA.
3. On the Workflows tab page, right-click the workflow that you want to run and click Execute Workflow.

   The workflow appears in the PayGlobal Workflow window.

4. In the workflow, double-click a green box to go to the relevant PayGlobal entity or an associated workflow.
5. Work through the required steps until you have reached the end of the workflow process.
6. Click the Close window button for the PayGlobal Workflow window to return to the PayGlobal grid.

Add Workflows to a Group

Use the Workflow Group Workflows form to add workflow definitions to a workflow group.

Workflow Definitions

Workflow definitions are the code that drives a workflow. Use workflow definitions to create your own workflows that suit the specific requirements of your organisation (see Creating Workflows).
