Summary |
Nominations 'hold' employees until a course is available. After you create a Courses record, you can add an employee to that course from a Nominations record. Note: Alternatively, you can Manually Add Attendees to a Course. |
Procedure |
To add an employee to a course from a nomination:
On the Nominations | Details tab, the Status field is now "Transferred", and in the Courses record, the nominated employee is now listed on the Attendees tab. |
Message - Employee Position |
If you click Transfer and the course type for this nomination is not associated with the employee's Work Area Position (WAP), then the following type of Information message appears: "This Employee's Position [PositionCode] is not attached to this Course's Course Type." This message just indicates that this course is not mandatory for the employee's WAP. Click OK to continue adding the employee to the course. Another Information message appears. Click Yes to transfer the employee. |
Message - Duplicate Attendee |
If you click Transfer and the employee is already an attendee in the course, then the following type of message appears: "This Nominee already exists as an Attendee on Course: [CourseCode]. Do you still wish them to be transferred? Click No because you do not want to create duplicate Course Attendees records. |
Course value |
If you create a nomination from an employee's training plan and use the Transfer button to add an employee to a course, then PayGlobal adds the Nominations - Details tab | Course value to the employee's Training Plan Course Types record. However, PayGlobal does not add the Course value to the employee's Training Plan Competencies record. |
