Summary |
Cycle-type accrual methods allow you to do 'mini roll-overs' within the sick leave cycle. They are more commonly used in Australia than in New Zealand, and they occur in standard pays only. The Y-Cycle Fixed accrual method is similar to the Fixed accrual method, but entitlement is calculated several times during the sick leave cycle. |

Example |
During an employee's first 12 months, they have a fixed monthly sick leave entitlement of 7.6 hours. You can attach the employee to an annual "Y-Cycle Fixed" sick leave table that gives them 12 'mini roll-overs' for 7.6 hours. |
