Organisation | Entitlements | Award Rules | Action Clauses tab
Summary |
Important: Only your PayGlobal Consultant should create award rules. Incorrect award rules will severely affect your system. Action clauses are run when the award rule is processed. The employee, timeband, and qualifying clauses filter employees so the action clause is applied only to employees who meet all criteria for the payroll rule. Award rule action clauses are evaluated before allowance action clauses. In Daily View, if you use Process Actuals to generate an allowance based on allowance action clauses, then the generated allowance does not use the rate in the original allowance. The rate in the generated allowance is based on the standard PayGlobal hierarchy, so the allowance uses the rate code and rate amount. If the allowance does not have a rate code or rate amount, then it uses the employee's default rate and rate amount. |
Examples |
Examples of award rule action clauses are: 1.0000 per Hour. to "02.03" - Sets a counter to monitor the criteria set in the earlier tab pages. The counter '02.02' increases by '1' each time the criteria is met. Round up to the nearest 0.5 - Rounds up transactions to the nearest 0.5. Note: When you create an award rule action clause, the Fields list contains sets of similar options. If you use one of these Fields options and then you edit the clause, PayGlobal automatically selects the first option in the set, not the option that you used. For example, if you create a clause with "Daily payments for [ ] after", and then edit it, PayGlobal selects "Daily payments for" as the default option in the Fields list. |
