Annual Leave Tables - Company

Payroll | Leave Setup | Annual Leave Tables | Company tab

Summary

You can define a company anniversary on the Annual Leave Tables | Company tab so you can align the annual leave rollover date to one date for all employee's attached to that table.

If you enter a company anniversary date, when you attach an annual leave table to an employee (see Employees - Leave) and leave the End date field blank, the following message appears:

"Align annual leave to company anniversary?"

  • Yes - PayGlobal populates the End date field with the company anniversary date.
  • No - PayGlobal populates the End date field based on the employee's Start date (see Employees - Dates) and the annual leave table's Days in this AL cycle value (see Annual Leave Tables - Setup).

You can also define a company anniversary on the Company Settings - Misc tab so you can align the annual leave rollover date to one date for all employee's.

Important: The company anniversary on the Annual Leave Tables | Company tab overrides the company anniversary on the Company Settings - Misc tab.

Fields
Anniversary day:

Day in the month that the anniversary occurs on. For example, type "15" for the 15th day.

Anniversary month:

Month (numeric) that the anniversary occurs in. For example, type "10" for October, the tenth month of the year.

Use public holidays in AL transaction dates:
  • Yes

PayGlobal uses the Holiday Group dates when it calculates an employee's annual leave date range.

  • No

PayGlobal does not use the Holiday Group dates when it calculates an employee's annual leave date range.

For example, an employee takes nine days' annual leave from 18/10/2004, and Labour Day is on 25/10/2004.

  • If Use public holidays in AL transaction dates = Yes, then the employee's final day of annual leave is 29/10/2004 (18/10/2004 + nine work days + 1 Holiday Group day).
  • If Use public holidays in AL transaction dates = No, then the employee's final day of annual leave is 28/10/2004 (18/10/2004 + nine work days).
