PayGlobal Toolbars

Summary

PayGlobal contains the following Toolbars:

Query Toolbar
Navigation Toolbar
Modules Toolbar
Hot Buttons Toolbar

The PayGlobal Toolbars are the same in all entities except:

Daily View
Diary View
Document View
Transaction View
History Analysis

Each toolbar is explained below.

Right-clicking anywhere in this area allows you to activate/deactivate the toolbars and customise how this area is used.

Query Toolbar

This is the Query toolbar. It is normally located at the top left of the PayGlobal screen. It allows you to filter the amount of information you wish to see in the PayGlobal Grid area according to the Entity or Makeup table selected in the PayGlobal Tree.

The Query toolbar searches for a records based on a selected entity field name.

For example, if you were in Employees and you only wanted to see employees in Department 01. You would select the Department code field to search by and 01 as the value to search for, then press the Go button.

Navigation Toolbar

The Navigation toolbar allows you to maneuver around PayGlobal more efficiently. Each button is explained as follows:

Icon		Details
	Add Record	Click this icon or press the Insert key to add a new record to an entity.
	Delete Record	Click this icon or press the Delete key to delete a record from an entity.
	Model Record	Click this icon or press Ctrl+M to model a record in an entity.
	Full Expand Tree	Click this icon or press Ctrl+D to expand all folders in the PayGlobal Tree.
	Full Contract Tree	Click this icon or press Ctrl+N to contract all folders in the PayGlobal Tree.
	Global List	Click this icon or press Alt+G to access the Global List. (Use the Global List as a shortcut to any PayGlobal entity)
	Total Records	Click this icon or press Ctrl+T to display an information window. For the entity table or makeup table grid areas you are currently viewing, PayGlobal displays the following details: Total number of records displayed Restrictions in effect (i.e. an active query)
	Pay Status	Click this icon to view the status of Periods (open or closed), and a list of accumulators. See the help topic Pay Status Icon for further information.

Modules
Toolbar

PayGlobal displays only the module icons that your database is licensed for. For example, when you are licensed to use Self-Service, the Self-Service module button is displayed.

	Rostering module is enabled.
	Labour Budgeting module is enabled.
	Time and Attendance module is enabled.
	Payroll module is enabled.
	M-Powered Superannuation module is enabled.
	Self-Service module is enabled.
	Click this icon to replace the normal PayGlobal tree structure with your customised tree structure. For more information see the help topic "Favourites".
	Click this icon to hide/unhide the entire PayGlobal tree structure.
