Summary

Clock processing takes an employee's clock swipes and calculates the actual start and end times of a shift.

Depending on the rules in the employee's Anchor Group, the start and end times are:

• Anchored to the employee's roster.

-or-

• Rounded.

If the employees are set up for breaks, the breaks are inserted.

Use this command after:

• Importing Clock Data.
• Resetting Clock Data.

Clock data remains in a raw state in PayGlobal until it has been processed. You need to process the Clock data to allow it to be viewed and used in Daily View.

Processing Clock data

There are many stages that clock data must pass through before it is successfully processed:

• Finding the anchor group for each employee.
• Anchoring clock swipes to the roster, if a roster exists.
• Applying rounding rules.
• Checking for duplicate clock swipes.
• Checking that the employee shift has finished.
• Inserting employee break information.
• Updating the Actuals for each day.
