Company Settings - Rostering - General

Administration | Modify Company Settings command | Rostering/T&A | Rostering | General tab

Summary

These fields define general details for the Rostering module.

Fields
Confirm roster:

This Yes/No field determines whether the Confirm and Unconfirm options are enabled in Roster Daily View. When you confirm employee Rosters, you are adding a visual indicator to show that these timebands are correct and complete (see Confirming Rosters).

Note: You do not have to confirm all Rosters before you can successfully close a Roster pay.

NOW-button:

If NOW-button = "Yes", then PayGlobal displays:

Using the NOW-button - You would use the NOW-button if you did not have a data capture device, but you still needed to enter real time information into your Roster timebands. If you click in the Roster timeband Start time or End time fields and then click NOW, PayGlobal enters the current server time. If you use the NOW button to enter a Start time in a timeband that spans midnight, and the server time is greater than the timeband Start time, then PayGlobal places a plus sign (+) in the End time field.

Note: You cannot use the NOW button in future timebands so your timeband date must be less than or equal to your server date.

Adjusted time - If your current server time does not reflect the 'real' time, you can enter an appropriate minute adjustment value in the NOW–time adjustment (mins) field in Daily View - Customise - Layout Options - Details. For example, if your server time is 12:00 and NOW–time adjustment (mins) = 60, then PayGlobal will enter 13:00 when you click the NOW button. You may need to use an adjustment if your server is in a different time zone.

Validate on close:

This Yes/No field determines whether PayGlobal validates data when you close a Roster pay. The default option is "No". If you select "Yes", then pay closing will take longer.

Build Allocations on stand alone Requirements:

This Yes/No field determines whether PayGlobal builds allocations for standalone requirements when opening a roster or running the Maintain Allocations command. Standalone requirements are requirements that are not attached to Requirement Tours.
