Leave Defaults - How to create (NZ)

Payroll | Leave Setup | Leave Defaults

Summary

The Leave Defaults command allows you create default UDAs (User Defined Accumulators) and allowance groups to meet the requirements of the New Zealand Holidays Act 2003.

Prerequisites

You must set up allowances before you run the Leave Defaults command so it can successfully create the default allowance groups.

Process
  1. Navigate to Payroll | Leave Setup | Leave Defaults.
  2. Double-click Leave Defaults.
  3. On the Holidays Act 2003 tab, select the appropriate values.
  4. Click OK.

    A warning message appears:

    "Warning - Create leave defaults?"

  5. Press Enter or click Yes to update your database.
  6. Check the audit log to ensure the leave default procedures were successful.
  7. Press Esc to return to the main PayGlobal window.

Post-requisites

After you run the Leave Defaults command, you should:

  1. Check that the new allowance groups contain the correct allowances for your organisation.
  2. Run the Create UDA Breakdowns command.
