Anchor Groups - Misc - Transfers / Breaks

Time & Attendance | Anchor Groups | Misc tab

Summary

These rules control the processing of transfers and breaks for your Anchor Groups.

Fields
Insert skipped detail:

Use this setting when an employee has multiple timebands in their roster for the day. For example, 08:00 to 12:00 (Department A) and 12:00 to 16:30 (Department B).

If Insert skipped detail = 'Yes', then PayGlobal automatically inserts times from the roster when the employee does not clock their break or transfer. If the employee does not have a roster, then this information is sourced from the employee's record. PayGlobal uses the clocked shift start and end times for break calculations. The employee does not have to clock swipe for each break.

If the employee has a roster and clock swipes, then PayGlobal considers both times.

For example:

  • Employee Roster = 9am to 5pm
  • Employee Clocks = 7am to 4pm

If Insert skipped detail = 'Yes' and Time Tolerance = 'No', then when you run Process Clock Data, Generate Non-Clocked Data, or Clock Result Data, PayGlobal creates the following timebands in Daily View:

  • 7am - 9am
  • 9am - 4pm

If Insert skipped detail = 'Yes' and Time Tolerance = 'Yes', then the following timebands are created:

  • 7 am - 9am ES
  • 9am - 4pm
  • 4pm - 5pm EF
Insert skipped breaks:
  • Yes

Breaks that are not clock swiped are transferred from the roster. The employee does not need to clock swipe for each break.

  • No

The employee must clock swipe each break.

Append new types from clock:

Clock keyed transfers that are registered in clock keys are created from the clock swipe. Refer to Clock Keys for more information.

  • Yes

Any unknown types imported with the clock data will be appended to the file.

  • No

Unknown types will be ignored and those fields will be left blank in the timeband record.

PayGlobal creates the transfer from the swipe when the employee enters a keyed transfer that is not on their roster. If the employee enters an unregistered key code, PayGlobal automatically creates an empty record for it. PayGlobal can then process the employee roster and you can enter the key code details later.
