Clock Result Data - Details

Time & Attendance | Clock Result Data command | Details tab

Summary

Use the Clock Result Data run command to process clock results. Clock results are flags that appear in Daily View and they identify timebands that needs to be checked in more detail. You then need to edit the timebands in Daily View to rectify any problems. Use the fields on the Details tab to set up this command.

Fields
Employee:

Select an employee in the pick list or leave this field blank to select all employees.

Employee Query:

Use a query to select a specific group of employees or leave this field as "Default" to select all employees.

From:

This date generally reflects yesterday's date, unless running this action on a Monday, in which case you may need to run this command for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

To:

This date generally reflects yesterday's date.

Note: The From and To dates are compulsory. Enter the dates for the days that you want to generate Clock Result Data for.

If an employee has missed a clock swipe (swiped in, but did not swipe out), PayGlobal will flag the omitted swipe in Daily View.

Note: An employee can have an uneven number of clock swipes if they use a clock key transfer, and in this instance PayGlobal would not flag the timeband. See Clock Keys.

If an employee was rostered to work on a certain day but has no clock swipes, PayGlobal flags the employee as absent in Daily View.

If an employee clocked in but was not rostered for that day, then PayGlobal flags the employee as not rostered in Daily View.

Time tolerance:

PayGlobal compares an employee's rostered details with their clock swipes. It then flags early or late starts and finishes, and then creates extra timebands in Daily View.

Note: If an employee has multiple shifts in one day, PayGlobal applies the time tolerance flag to the whole day; not to individual shifts.

Unbroken time:

If an employee works, without a break, for longer than the hours specified in the Unbroken hours field, then PayGlobal flags their clock swipes as unbroken time in Daily View.

No change to Daily View display.

Unbroken hours:

When the Unbroken time field = 'Yes', enter the number of Unbroken hours that an employee must work for their timeband to be flagged as an Unbroken time exception result.
