Administration | User-Defined Accumulators
Summary |
In accordance with the New Zealand Holidays Act 2003 (No. 129) your PayGlobal database must contain the appropriate User-Defined Accumulators (UDAs). PayGlobal can create default UDAs on command, or you can set them up manually. The default UDAs are designed for the New Zealand Holidays Act 2003 leave calculations:

For upgrades to v4.36 and newer LWOPWEEKS is automatically added as part of the upgrade process. For new implementations all UDAs in the above table except those relating to the old Relevant Daily Pay - 4 week rule are created when the Leave Defaults command is run. Except for LWOPWEEKS, if you do not want to use the default UDA codes, then you can create your own UDA records - but you remember to ensure these are applied to the Holidays Act tab in Modify Company Settings. |
Earnings and Hours UDAs |
The default set-up is reliant on a specific Allowance Group. PayGlobal will create default Allowance Groups as per the above table when Leave Defaults is run. However, those allowance groups will be empty, therefore you will need to populate them with the appropriate Allowances. |
Days UDAs |
The default set-up utilises the Days Worked values from the Pay Header feature. |
LWOPWEEKS UDA |
This is a system generated UDA. It is designed to look at allowance transactions in each pay that have the Weeks Absent field populated. The values added to the Employee UDA Breakdowns record for this UDA is used for reducing the divisor of the Average Weekly Earnings rate (AWE) where the:

Security |
Important: Users without a Security Profile automatically gain Edit access to all UDA related features. You need to ensure that all users have a Security Profile and have appropriate access rights to UDA related features. Accessing the Employees - UDA Breakdown tab Use the Security Profiles | Menu | Access Level field to set the appropriate access levels for users. The minimum access requirements for users to Edit or View the Employees | UDA Breakdown tab are:
