Administration

Summary

The Administration folder stores the Maintenance, Backups, Synchronisations, Security, Messaging tasks and Company Settings modifications.

Supervisory staff and implementation consultants, rather than operators, are usually responsible for the administration of the PayGlobal system. However, all staff involved with the system must understand the various administration functions and the reasons for them.

The Administration folder

The following areas are available under PayGlobal Administration:

Maintenance
Use this area to maintain the system.

Backups
Use this area to backup your PayGlobal data, restore from a previous backup or maintain files by deleting old backups.

Synchronisations
Use this area to import files from another application, or to export files for use in other programs.

Security
Use this area to maintain user and security profiles, and to view and maintain the system audit log.

Messaging
Use this area to define workgroups and message diversion rules.
