Summary

This section of the employees entity deals with the different types of leave that may apply to an employee.

Employees in an organisation may be entitled to different leave provisions. For example, some employees may be entitled to three weeks annual leave and others to four weeks.

PayGlobal uses leave tables to set up the conditions under which different employees are paid by. The appropriate leave tables are then attached to employees in the leave section of their employee record.

As employees work, they accrue leave entitlements. Leave entitlement fluctuates according to the amount of time an employee has worked and the leave they have taken. When you close a Pay, employee leave entitlements are updated so that you can easily see their current leave situation.
